1. Our Core Privacy Commitment

Rapido® InfraTel LLP ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Rapido®Pay platform under the foundational philosophy of Universal Human Inclusion & Equity. We strictly adhere to the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), the Information Technology Act, 2000, and applicable Reserve Bank of India (RBI) directions. We never monetize, sell, or rent personal data to advertisers or unauthorized third parties.

2. Data We DO NOT Collect or Store

  • Zero Banking Credentials: We never capture, transmit, or store your UPI PIN, MPIN, debit/credit card CVV, or net-banking passwords.
  • No Bank Account Balances: We cannot access or query your live bank accounts.
  • No Contact Book Hijacking: We do not upload your phone contacts to remote servers.

3. Data We Process to Deliver Services

Data Type Operational Purpose Retention & Security
Scanned QR Payload Evaluating threat scores and determining the highest-cashback payment app. Ephemeral in-memory evaluation; pruned immediately after intent hand-off.
Transaction History Logs User personal expense ledger and merchant turnover aggregation for pre-approved NBFC loans. Logged to Firebase Realtime Database (low latency) and rolled up monthly into Cloud Firestore (Mumbai, India).
Location Data (Merchants) Spatial proximity verification to confirm merchant store location for multi-QR loan underwriting. Encrypted at rest; accessed only upon explicit foreground consent.

4. Local Data Residency

All database instances and cloud logs are strictly stored in Google Cloud's asia-south1 (Mumbai, India) region, complying with Indian regulatory requirements for financial and electronic communications data sovereignty.
